The Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) released today, February 14, the Harana Stamp, the digital art rendition of the traditional Filipino way of courtship, modernized by the Singing Karteros (mailman).
The Singing Mailman delivers greeting cards, flowers even chocolates and other romantic items to love ones on Valentines Day while singing their favorite songs.
The Harana Stamp features a couple in Philippine national costumes with the boy serenading the girl, and holding her heart in acceptance.
PHLPost has been issuing Valentines Stamp yearly to celebrate the heart's day. It has become a Filipino tradition popularized by the PHLPost own Singing Karteros.
Valentines Day celebration is not only for lovers, but also for married couples, old and young, and for singles searching for partners.
